2017 Powered Parachute Gypsy Tour

Location:
Everett Mitchell Ranch, MT

Details:

Everett Mitchell Ranch, which is about 12 miles north of Glendive, Montana or south of Sydney. From Glendive , go north on Highway 16 about 12 miles to an oil field gas switching station on west side of road and turn west at the graveled road that has a large metal cutout sign that identifies the Mitchell ranch turn. Follow the gravel road twisting up the side hill for a few miles then when on top there is a road turning left to the building that is about 3/4 mile. Boondocking is a good word for it. Grass pasture runways in several directions. No potluck, no food, maybe not or maybe - coffee, after all -- Gypsies are an independent bunch. The Mitchell ranch is a huge pasture with some rugged badlands surrounding it . Like what was mentioned earlier. Boondocking. There may be an outhouse. Depends on if last year’s donations were enough for the bother for this year. More info email ckling@sdplains.com
